In this tutorial, we are going to learn how to make multiplication table in Excel. For example, we are making a table of 20 X 10 as given below.

We create multiplication table by using a simple formula in the first cell, then simply drag and fill the formula down and right.
Follow these simple steps to create.
Step 1. In a column write numbers from 1 to 20. (column B in the example)
Step 2. In Row write 1 to 10. (row 3 in the example)
Step 3. In C4 cell, write this formula “=$B4*C$3”

Step 4. Go to Fill handle “+” and drag the formula to right and down.

Now the multiplication table is ready. You can find the result by simply looking at the intersection point of two values to multiply. For example, to check the result of 16 x 8, see at the intersection of 16 and 8, which is 128.
